What is the best way of putting lipstick on your lips?

When ever i put lipstick on my lips after an a hour it goes off.
I dont know what is the reason so i am looking for some lipstick or lipliner that stay for longer hours on my lips.Is there any good brand?

  2. Some cheaper drugstore brands like CoverGirl and Max Factor, Revlon etc have the long-lasting ones but they tend to be drying. You could be using really sheer types that aren't mean to be on lips too long.

    I've heard putting foundation or powder on your lips helps to make lipstick adhere better. The brand Benefit has something called "She Laq" that seals makeup. Guerlain has a nice lip primer. You can get both from sephora.com. Reapplying isn't that bad, though. I think nice sheer colors and even lip glosses look better than lipstick anyway. I buy most of my lip glosses from Dior, that's a great brand.

    first you put a lip balm on your lips, dab lipstick in the center, and move outwards.
