No sense in talking … No sense in talking to you. I guess you didnt get the meaning of Obama is your President. Once again taking everything literally. OK let me rephrase it for you. He is your President elect and in Jan he will be our President. Better?
OK you know what. … OK you know what. You are 100% right and I am wrong. OK happy now. I mean it. I didnt even vote for Obama or Mccain because all politicians are full of it. Just when I heard his speech and used that expression I didnt even think of Palin. So suck it up Obama is your President. I am not a “Liberal” Because I say something doesnt classify my me as a Liberal. I guess if that is the case your are a literalist. Take everything at face value. Enjoy Obama you Literalist.
“out of context”
- … “out of context”
–What? I took it in perfect context, then showed you were wrong, then you CHANGED the wording & meaning of your message, now I’m taking it out of context? What kind of Liberal double-talk NewSpeak bullshit is that? What a child!
“Obama is my President”
–Not sure what nation you live in, G.W. Bush is my President.
“ill-timed”
–No, perfectly timed, just totally out of line.
“But did you”
–Just pointing out, AND CLARIFYING FOR TRUTH, the situation & it’s implications.
OK I shoul;d have … OK I shoul;d have said “many of your cohorts” Another example of taking something out of context. I sit corrected on the “registered voters” Yet, the bottom line is. Obama is my President and your President. If you think Palin had what it takes to lead this country than that is a shame. His comment might have been ill-timed becaue of what Palin had said. But did you want to focus on what possibly might have been an attack on her or focus on the problems effecting you and me both. So good luc
“All your … “All your Republican cohorts still voted for him”
–Really? All of them?
Let’s see…. According to the latest info, although I don’t totally agree, of all registered voters, membership in the Democratic Party is 56% and the Republican Party has 43%. Obama won with a 53% popular vote.
Now, tell me how you’re not talking out of your with that one?
OK You know what. … OK You know what. Fine, he made the comment and out of the clear blue he figures, lets take a jab at Palin. That being said. All your Republican cohorts still voted for him. So either they really dont believe he was referring to her and/or they knew she was not VP or possibly President material. And by-the-way, same goes to you about making a choice of seeing what you want to see. You want to be angry because your party had nothing else to discuss.
“If thats what you … “If thats what you get from the statement as an attack on her than Oh well nothing else can be said”
–That’s the typical Liberal tactic of ignoring facts and reason. If you don’t see that as an attack on her, then you are making a choice to not see it. You know it was.
“He never said Palin once while making thaty speech”
–Does he need to? Obviously no.
“He was talking policy=lipstick on a pig not Palin=lipstick on a pig”
–And he just happen to think of that little joke? Out of the blue?
Obama once said … Obama once said that he doesn’t yell when he is angry and that he just tries to make the other person feel guilty. This is precisely what he is doing hear.
I find it ing … I find it ing genius. They bullshit him with terrorist and muslim so he s them with a insult no one can touch. McCain and especially, palin. You act like politics are all nice and friendly and as if obama makes an insult with a amplitude nobody has ever heard. Grow up
You know there is … You know there is also an expression that says “You can only reason with a reasonable person” And clearly you arent. I know she made the commentabout “lipstick”. If thats what you get from the statement as an attack on her than Oh well nothing else can be said. You really arent a reasonable person. Take care enjoy the next 4 yrs. He never said Palin once while making thaty speech. He was talking policy=lipstick on a pig not Palin=lipstick on a pig. Get real. DOnt look for excuses to be angry.
1. It was a well known that Palin made the hockey mom-bulldog reference first.
2. He may have been talking about McCain’s policy, but she’s his running mate, and attacking one is attacking the other/both. He took her words to insult his policy, and her.
3. The actual saying is “You can put a pig in a dress and take it to the dance, but in the end it’s still a pig.” So he was definitely making a comment against Palin.
How am I an idiot. … How am I an idiot. I can listen to a conversation he is having and the reference he is making and that makes me an idiot. I am not even an Obama supporter or a McCain supporter but I have the intellect to hear what someone is saying. If “dont be an idiot” is your best response. Than you are pathetic.
Tell me how that can be taken to refer to Palin when he was talking about McCain’s economic policy, Please. Because apprently, I am the “idiot” and you are the brains.
What does he have … What does he have to apologize for? He was not even discussing Palin or anything about Palin. His comment was in reference to one of McCain’s economic policies and how its still the same old thing that has been done and nothing new. So apologizing for something the McCain/Palin Campaign was insinuating yet untruthful would be absurd.
The saying was “you … The saying was “you can put a dress on a pig” and take it to a dance, but it’s still a pig.
Palin once said “what’s the difference between a hockey mom and a bulldog - lipstick.”
Obama was making a nasty, vile, and unacceptable insult when he chose to use “lipstick” in the original saying. That was simply out of line, and ne never really apologized for it. Not the gentlemen he says he is.
Obama’s campaign is … Obama’s campaign is utterly dependant upon unexperienced and uneducated voters in order to win. A tiny fraction of them know what the issues are or what his policies will mean to them. They hear “HOPE” and “CHANGE” and that’s all it takes to grab their attention. Obama’s campaign is brilliant from? a propagandistic standpoint, unless you are knowledgable about what these vague slogans and slick images mean from a historical perspective. An Obama presidency will be a disaster for us all.
This is not his ‘ … This is not his ‘Phony Outrage’ it is the truth. Couric and her network had McCain camp pull the ad because they used Her out of context even.
Lipstick on a pig is an expression used widely in Washington. Like ‘you can polish a turd, but it’s still a turd’!
